Finding Us
Spire Manchester Hospital, 170 Barlow Moor Road, Manchester – the main clinic location.
The hospital sits on Barlow Moor Road in Didsbury, a few minutes from the A34 and M60 junction 5. On-site parking is free for patients and visitors, with spaces directly outside the main entrance and a sheltered drop-off point if someone is bringing you.
Several bus routes run along Barlow Moor Road and stop within a short walk of the entrance. The nearest Metrolink stops are East Didsbury and Didsbury Village, both roughly ten to fifteen minutes away on foot or a short taxi ride. East Didsbury rail station is also close by.
The hospital is step-free throughout, with automatic doors, lifts to every consulting floor, accessible parking bays beside the main entrance and a hearing loop at reception and in the consulting rooms. If you have an access requirement we have not covered, tell us when you book, and we will make arrangements before you arrive.
Spire Manchester Clinic Hale (“Spire Hale”), 159 Ashley Road, Hale, Altrincham, Cheshire, WA15 9SF
From the M56, exit at Junction 6 and follow the A538 (Wilmslow Road) through Hale Barns into Hale. The clinic is on Ashley Road, near the level crossing. From Altrincham or Manchester, take the A56 or A560, then the A538 south. Manchester Airport is about 10 to 15 minutes away. (On-site parking not yet confirmed.)
Hale railway station sits on Ashley Road, a short walk from the clinic, with Mid Cheshire Line services to Manchester Piccadilly, Stockport, Knutsford and Chester. Bee Network buses 283 and 780 stop nearby at Hale Village, and route 284 also serves the area. Altrincham interchange, about 1.5 miles north, offers tram and rail connections.
Hale railway station has level, step-free access to both platforms with no stairs, and a ramp for boarding. There's no tactile paving, accessible toilet or dedicated disabled parking, though the forecourt allows drop-off. National Rail's assistance helpline runs 24/7. Clinic building accessibility hasn't been confirmed, so please check before publishing.
